Four axis: Generally, when a workpiece is not positioned in space, it has six degrees of freedom, including three linear displacement degrees of freedom (X, Y, Z) and three corresponding rotational displacement degrees of freedom (A, B, C). The three-axis machining center we usually refer to is used to machine objects through three linear axes, X, Y, and Z. Four axes refers to the addition of an A rotation axis on the basis of three axes, which enables the machining of objects in the four degrees of freedom of X, Y, Z, and A.
